CourtMode Terms of Use
Effective date: 2026-10-09
These Terms of Use govern your use of CourtMode ("the App"), developed by Dominik Schmitt, trading as Domtelier. By creating an account or using the App, you agree to these Terms.
Pre-launch
CourtMode is in active development. Features, pricing, and availability may change before a public launch.
License
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for coaching and practice-planning purposes, subject to these Terms.
Accounts
CourtMode requires an account to create and manage teams, sessions, and drills. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for activity under your account.
AI-Generated Content
AI-generated session plans, drill descriptions, and whiteboard animations are provided as a planning aid. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying AI-generated content before relying on it for actual coaching sessions. We do not guarantee the accuracy, safety, or suitability of AI-generated drills or plans.
Acceptable Use
- use the App for unlawful purposes
- attempt to interfere with, disrupt, or damage the App or its backend services
- attempt to bypass account or access controls
- use the App as the sole authoritative source for safety-critical coaching decisions
No Warranty
The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by applicable law. As a pre-launch product, interruptions, bugs, and data-model changes are more likely than in a stable release.
Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages arising out of or related to the use of, or inability to use, the App.
Intellectual Property
The App, including its software, design, and branding, is owned by the developer or its licensors. You retain ownership of the team, session, and drill content you create.
Changes to the App and Terms
We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the App at any time, and may revise these Terms from time to time. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
Governing Law and Venue
To the extent permitted by applicable law, these Terms are governed by the laws of Switzerland, excluding its conflict-of-law rules and excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. To the extent permitted by applicable law, disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be resolved in the courts having jurisdiction at the developer's place of business in Switzerland. Mandatory consumer-protection rights in your country of residence remain unaffected.
