Effective date: 2026-10-09
How VociApp uses AI, what data may be sent for processing, and how to report issues.
AI Features in VociApp
- answer feedback during study
- mnemonics, usage examples, synonyms, or etymology-style learning help
- term analysis and verb detection
- verb conjugation support
- context generation for vocabulary
- AI-assisted OCR vocabulary extraction and import enrichment
What May Be Sent to AI Processing
- the word, phrase, verb, or card you asked about
- your answer and the expected answer for feedback
- deck language pair and context needed to generate a useful response
- recognized OCR text or imported text you selected for AI-assisted extraction
- technical request metadata needed for quota enforcement and diagnostics
AI Quotas
AI use is quota-bound by subscription tier (Free, Plus, Pro AI) to prevent abuse and uncontrolled cost exposure. Large prompts and OCR text are limited before processing.

- malicious code or abuse-enabling content
Report AI Problems
If AI output is harmful, offensive, unsafe, or clearly wrong, report it to vociapp.support@gmail.com with the feature used, approximate time, the prompt (if comfortable sharing), and why it's a problem.
Privacy and AI
Do not submit sensitive personal information, secrets, passwords, health information, or information about other people into AI prompts or imports unless you are comfortable with it being processed by the AI service providers used to answer your request.
